In a moment of clarity , there arrived a morsel of inspiration - as the fog lifted from the mountains, it struck me that there could be a narrative which would give form to the amorphous, shifting thing that is MORPH.

It is a story that has been told before, as ancient as the mountains that have given clarity to my thoughts, now all I need to do is unearth it from the myriad things that occupy my grey matter...

My blog is dying...

Like so many potted plants, the awful demise is evident daily as I fail once more to nurture the thing that I have taken on - the beauty that I had once envisaged browning into the remnants of an old ladies geraniums. I feel like Dr. King in negative - I have a nightmare! where different colours are gradually mixed together to make a huge pot of greenish-brown, or brownish-green...

I need to stop, I need to get out more, I need to go to the river and be inspired...

If I am still alive on Monday then I will write again - the pen may be mightier than the sword, but lets face it, razor blades cut quicker!

I've just looked at the blog, and realised it is totally illegible - going now to change some colour settings...

The website is almost there...
It will be online by the weekend, if all goes to plan, the image here is sort of a teaser - there's music and film too, and I can't decide if I should post a partly written screenplay or just put up page one and let it develop. Answers on a postcard please

ok - the project has begun...
Let me explain how this is supposed to work,
I am going to post words, images, ideas, music and film bits on the morph website.
If you want to use some of the content to create something or just have an idea
you send a mail asking for the original content - I send you the file(s) - you do your stuff,
you send it back and I post the new stuff!

At some point in the new year I will be posting deadlines because some production time will be needed if everything is to be ready for the exhibition date - 20:10 20th Oct 2010

This is the germ of an idea, an experiment in creative collaboration. It is an audio visual art project and as yet is without a definite shape, floating as it does in the space between creation and embodiment, already more than a twinkle, but not yet a star...

The project is to involve film, music, sound, poetry and illustration (actually, it may extend to include dance, performace, installation and other things unspecified) I am inviting collaboration from a range of creative people that I know and love. It begins with this blog, where I hope to get feedback as to whether this is a great idea and what areas could be explored. I will be posting reports, ideas, images and files for inspiration...
